Campaign Asia-Pacific's Digital Media Awards 2022 are setting out to celebrate outstanding ideas, work, agencies, brands and talent in the Greater China region.

As Greater China's digital industry leads the world in terms of creativity and innovation, this awards competition aims to celebrate the truly remarkable work that has a positive impact on people, brands and society. Categories have been selected to reflect the development and growth of marketing in Greater China. As you'll find in this entry kit, work can be entered by vertical sector and by type of media engaged. This year, you will note that we have introduced two new categories — Best Pandemic Digital Response and Best Use of Live Streaming.

In our effort to honour and nurture the best talent, these awards feature people categories to recognise the industry's digital leaders. In addition, Campaign will be handing out the Platinum Award to the best campaign and crowning the Digital Media Awards Agency of the Year 2022.

An independent jury, comprising leading client marketers, digital practitioners, and agency strategists, as well as other experts in the field of marketing, will judge entries.

We look forward to a truly competitive year and uncovering work that's innovative and inspirational.

General Guidelines and Information

Who Should Enter

Entry is open to all brands, media owners, agencies, production or design companies, or any other parties involved in digital communications for advertising purposes within the Greater China region.

Eligibility Period

All entries should relate to achievements ONLY during the period 1 January 2021 – 24 February 2022. Written entries which do not focus on the eligibility period but include achievements outside the review period will be disqualified. We accept written submissions in English or Simplified Chinese.

Campaign reserves the right to reject work it feels does not comply with the spirit of the awards.

In all categories, while levels of innovation and creativity are taken into account, the judges will look primarily at the extent to which projects and campaigns have met client advertisers’ objectives. Evidence of success in this respect should be demonstrated — for example, figures verified by a third party such as a media owner, industry measurement tool or industry body.

Judges

An independent jury consisting of leading client marketers, digital media practitioners, agency strategists and other experts will judge the entries.

At all voting stages, the judges are prevented from voting for entries submitted by their own agency in their market/country. The decision of the jury on all matters relating to the awarding prizes will be final and binding. Great care is taken in selecting a judging panel comprising the right balance of specialist knowledge, experience and objectivity. Strict guidelines, designed to eliminate vested interest or breaches of guidelines of entry, will be followed.

Awards Category

The Digital Media Awards China 2022 recognises digital marketers and their agencies/partners for outstanding work in promoting products and services in the Greater China region.

Categories have been selected to reflect the growing maturity of digital marketing. Projects can be entered by vertical sector and by type of media engaged.

Same campaign can be entered into multiple media categories but can only be entered in one sector category.
